There are no legal fees to be paid if the claim does not result in financial compensation for the people who had their privacy breached. We only get paid at the end, if we win the claim. The lawyers’ fees will be a percentage of any final award after the trial or through a settlement agreement. The amount of the lawyers’ fees will be approved by a judge of the Supreme Court of British Columbia.
