If you are injured in an accident ICBC may ask you to be examined by their own medical specialist to set out the extent of your injuries. ICBC has a group of medical specialists who it uses for such reports and repeatedly uses that same group. The final amount of your settlement will often be determined in large part by the content of the medical reports addressing your medical condition after the accident. If the only report of your medical condition is that performed by an ICBC specialist, the value of your claim may be seriously undermined.
